During an advanced clinical trial with over 2,100 participants, the effects of Jeuveau were compared to BOTOX. With all primary and secondary endpoints being met, Jeuveau was found to provide effective aesthetic treatment for patients by temporarily paralyzing facial muscles without any drug-related adverse side effects. Additionally, Jeuveau is reported to be less costly than BOTOX by approximately 20 – 25%. During a thorough consultation at our Ashburn, VA facility, Dr. Brown will be able to evaluate your desired results and budget to recommend the appropriate product to meet your needs.

Prior to your treatment, your face will be cleansed and numbing cream may be applied to allow for a more comfortable procedure. Dr. Brown will then skillfully inject the Jeuveau into the areas that were decided upon during your consultation. The entire procedure typically takes no longer than 15 minutes with very minimal discomfort. After your treatment, Dr. Brown will let you know what to expect and provide you with aftercare instructions. Typically, results appear within 3 – 7 days and follow-up appointments can be scheduled to help maintain results.

How much do Jeuveau injectable treatments cost?

The price of a Jeuveau treatment will vary, depending on how much of the injectable is needed to provide optimal results. However, it is set to be less costly than most other brands of wrinkle relaxers, including BOTOX. During your consultation, Dr. Brown will be able to provide you with an estimate of your expected costs and give you information on the payment methods we accept.

How do I know which product is right for me?

Though there are several options on the market for injectable treatments, you will need a consultation to determine which one is right for you. It is also important to understand the difference between injectable wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers. While a wrinkle relaxer can diminish the appearance of forehead lines and wrinkles, as well as Crow’s feet, it cannot restore lost volume or fill in smile lines.

Is Jeuveau safe?

Recently approved by the FDA, Jeuveau has been studied for both efficacy and safety in a thorough clinical trial. Though it is unlikely, you should contact our office if you notice any swelling, difficulty swallowing, or vision problems.

If you desire to diminish the appearance of forehead wrinkles or Crow’s feet without the need for invasive treatment, Jeuveau may be the ideal procedure for you. Dr. Michael J. Brown is highly skilled in performing this FDA-approved injectable for improved aesthetic outcomes.
