In her before photo the lower eyelid is full with fat and was very concerning to this lovely woman. She had a plastic surgery approach to the fat from the inside of the lower eyelid. This is known as a transconjunctival blepharoplasty approach. A blepharoplasty is the medical term for eyelid surgery. There is no external or visible scar. She has had a considerable improvement in her lower lids.

These photographs show the before and four months post-operation on a lower lid blepharoplasty. This plastic surgery was performed without making an external eyelid incision or scar. This is called a transconjunctival approach.

Looking up pushes the extra fat outwards and exaggerates the amount of fat that is there. This is a good measure to evaluate the lower eyelid fat compartments.
