PROCEDURE DETAILS

She waited years after her breast cancer treatments to decide to have breast reconstruction. Her mastectomy scar was very high on her chest. Therefore, the back skin and muscle were rotated into the lower half of the breast and the old scar was not used. This allowed the creation of a new breast fold and beautiful shaped reconstruction. She does have an implant in place too. This allowed for more volume to be created to match her other side. She declined nipple reconstruction.
