She has had a breast cancer diagnosis and skin sparing mastectomy. Only the nipple and areola were removed at the time of her mastectomy. Her back muscle and a permanent breast implant were placed. Her after breast reconstruction photos show the retraction of the breast because she is actively undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments for her cancer.
