This woman has developed severe stretch mark scars from her pregnancies. She is not fat, nor does she have a lot of extra skin. She wanted as many stretch marks removed as possible. She was aware that without lots of extra skin, she would have to be pulled very tightly to remove the skin. With this pulling, the skin incision scar will be closed under marked tension. When this occurs the scar will take longer to heal and is at greater risk to widen, thicken, and pigment more. She was willing to accept these risks to get rid of as many stretch marks as possible.
