This very fit woman was not happy with her stretch marks around her belly button. Despite having a relatively flap belly, she wanted the stretch marks gone. She is very thin and did not have a lot of extra skin. In order to remove the stretch marks, she had to be pulled very tightly. This is why she has the prolonged redness to her incision and a touch of thickening of her scar. This will take a bit longer to resolve than most abdominoplasty surgery cases because of the tension placed on this closure. She was aware this prior to her surgery and was of no concern. She is delighted that the stretch marks are gone and no one can see the scar anyway.
